Mikey's Way is an organization I have known about for years. Michael Friedman was a courageous student who lost his battle with cancer in 2008. He was a selfless patient who wanted to help those less fortunate than him. He used his Make-A-Wish to start Mikey's Way Foundation which gives Wi-Fi ready electronics, such as laptops and tablets, to kids with cancer. The gifts provide meaningful diversions and connections to the outside world that these children are forced to leave behind. In a word—help them escape.
